Portage County – Each day, donations from concerned people and corporations like you improve the lives of the thousands of dogs housed in our shelters.

Rose’s Rescue would like to provide a fenced in area for the shelter dogs at The Portage County Dog Warden. The Portage County Dog Warden alone brings in between 800 to 1,000 dogs into their shelter each year. These dogs live in a small kennel until they are adopted or go to a rescue group such as Rose’s Rescue.  To help these shelter dogs lead a happier stress free life until adopted or rescued, Rose’s Rescue is seeking donations to build a fenced in play area at the Portage County Dog Warden.

The purpose of this project is to help the dogs become more adoptable. The fenced play area will help the dogs relieve stress by getting them out of their small kennel, teach them socialization skills by having play time with other dogs and provide an area for the volunteers to work with the dogs leash free.

This project has a cost of $11,082.00. 100% of the proceeds for the Doggie Play Land Project will go toward the cost of the play area. Funds collected in excess of the project cost will go toward play objects to keep in the play yard or to fund additional rescues from the Portage County Dog Warden.

Together, working with the community we can make even more of a difference in pets’ lives. We hope that we can count on your support to make this fundraiser a success!

Please mail your donation to Rose’s Rescue (noting the Doggie Play Land Project on your check) PO Box 33, Rootstown, OH 44272 or visit our donation site at http://www.gofundme.com/doggie-play-land to make your donation online.

Rose’s Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit rescue made up of a small group of volunteers, and no paid employees. All of our funds come from donations. We strive to not only help the dogs we have rescued, but also work to support our local pounds such as The Portage County Dog Warden where there is a need.  We are proud of our accomplishments! You can be proud too, knowing you are contributing to this important cause. As always, donations to the Rose’s Rescue are fully tax-deductible (501c3 – 201732751).

We thank you in advance!
