Mantua – The Mantua Village Garden Club, which was organized in March of 1930, will kick off its first meeting for 2016 at the home of Lea Lazar, on Monday March 7th.  This meeting will begin with a light lunch, and focus on discussion of the business goals, & programs for the upcoming year. This year the meetings are scheduled to be held on the first Mondays of the month, at noon.

This past December new club officers were elected. They are listed in the picture, from left to right, President – Paula Tubalkain, Vice President – Patsi Gast, Secretary – Michelle Rennie, and Treasurer – Linda Schultz.

The purpose of the club is to stimulate the love and knowledge of gardening among amateurs, and encourage civic planting, to beautify the village. The MVGC welcomes new members, so feel free to come and join us on March 7th, to see if it might be an organization that might be right for you.  For more information call Paula Tubalkin @ 330-274-2890, or Michelle Rennie @ 440-313-7892.
