Mantua – Refuse to COOK and attend “The BEST CHILI COOK-OFF EVER”.  It starts Thursday, February 27th from 5-7 pm, in the decorated Crestwood HS cafeteria. The proceeds will assist the Rotary Club of Mantuas to fund 2014 Scholarships and Awards for Crestwood students!  The Mantua Rotary Club has supported the academic and service achievements of our Crestwood students for decades. The awarded amounts given to Crestwood students in the last ten years have exceeded $40,000!  To expand the relationship between Crestwood Schools, the Rotary Club is offering the 1st Annual “Serve It Up” Chili Cook Off.
mantua-chili-cookoffEntries of the Chili Chefs include Rotarians, students, teachers, school staff, and competitive Chili Cooks who like to showcase their secret chili recipe, and believe they make the Best Chili!  Jake’s Restaurant, Mantua Corners Bar and Grill, Sherwin Williams, are a few local businesses,  challenging our local chili chefs!

Mark Your Calendars TODAY and attend the most fun and tasty dinner in town. The cost is $6 (children 6 and under are free), AND complete the evening by attending the Crestwood Band and Choir Concert immediately following the dinner, starting at 7pm.  Award-winning cornbread, desserts, accoutrements are included with the dinner.
Taste and enjoy over 20 chilis. Vote for your favorite chili, Vote for your favorite Chef Costume, Win Door Prizes. There is still time to Register and enter your chili by contacting Mantua Rotarian Sandy at 440-773-8532.
