Garrettsville – Join us at the Garrettsville Library for our children’s holiday programs. Holiday crafts begin with a winter bookmark on Monday, December 3 from 4:30 pm until 5:45 pm. Followed by an angel ornament (December 5), a button Christmas card (December 7), a fabric ornament (December 10), a gingerbread house (December 11), and earrings (December 12). Registration is required to attend these programs (supplies limited.) Call 330-527-4378 to register or for more information. Intended audiences include preschoolers and school-age children for most craft programs. There are a few programs that include teen age groups as well. Please call the library for more information.

A holiday favorite, the Polar Express and a visit from Santa arrive on Tuesday, December 4 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Share with us the heartfelt story of the Polar Express and enjoy a visit with Santa. Space is limited so registration is a must. Program intended for preschoolers and school-age children.

Special Christmas storytimes will be held during the month. On Monday, December 17 from 11:00 am until 11:45 am and on Tuesday, December 18 from 11:30 am until 12:15 pm. Enjoy Christmas stories, crafts, and fingerplays. Storytimes are intended for preschoolers.

The Garrettsville Library, located at 10482 South Street, is open Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm; Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm; Saturday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm; and closed on Thursday and Sunday.
