On her birthday, July 3, Grace and her daughter Jeanne Ehresman (both of Ravenna) celebrated at one of her favorite places (Pizza Hut) with her double cheese pizza! Then on July 7- Grace celebrated at her son and daughter-in-laws (Ron & Donna Ehresman) home  in Olmstead Twp. The party was also for Grace’s great grandson, Isaac Pennock (15 on June 30) and son Ron (69 on July 10). Also in attendance for this celebration were Pam, Bob & Sam Pennock of Plymouth, MI; Kim, Mark, Alice, Ben & Max Ehresman of Dublin, OH and Anne Pennock & Ken Yeager of Olmsted Falls.

Grace was a third grade teacher in Windham for several years in the 60’s & 70’s. she and her husband Bob moved from Windham to Nelson in 1971 and then to Ravenna in 1991. Bob passed away in 1996. Grace keeps very busy with keeping in touch with her many relatives and friends with birthday and anniversary greeting and writes to many also. She enjoys reading and the bookmobile can brings new books to her place every other week so she always has new books to read. Watching and feeding her birds ( and squirrels!) taking care of her flowers both outside and inside also keeps her busy and happy.

She shares her place with her Maine Coon cat Freddy, who had her well trained and is a lot of company.

As much as Grace enjoys sending out cards and letters she also really enjoys receiving greetings from others.
