Garrettsville – Local author Sharon R. Hunter will be at the Village Bookstore, 8140 Main Street in Garrettsville on Saturday, May 11th from 1 – 3pm to sign copies of her romance novel, “The Rancher’s Wife.”

In the contemporary romance, city bred, executive chef, Aubrey Hunter, meets rugged sun-drenched ranch owner, Nic Ravenwood.  After a whirlwind romance he presents her with a marriage proposal.  She accepts and leaves her beloved career and city life behind for the wide open range of ranch life in Wyoming.  With determination, Aubrey struggles to find her place in her new husband’s lifestyle.

Mrs. Hunter’s first writing was not a romance.  Inspired by her special needs daughter, Lauren, she wrote “A Wheel Chair for Lauren” The essay received second place at the Y-City Writers Conference, in Zanesville, Ohio.  A romance reader at heart, Mrs. Hunter took up writing in her late 40’s.  With the encouragement of her husband and a handful of girlfriends she is turning a lifelong dream into a reality.  Mrs. Hunter lives in Streetsboro with her husband Jeff, daughter Lauren, son Beau, and their furry felines.
