Newton Falls – Like a blushing bride all dolled up for her special day, the banquet hall at Roby Lee’s Restaurant and Banquet Center is looking its best after a makeover worthy of truly being the center of attention.

The newly redecorated facility will be the focus of an Open House on Sunday, October 13 from 1-4pm during which the public is invited to be the guests for the afternoon and enjoy complimentary appetizers and food samples while having the opportunity to meet with banquet staff and ask questions about event planning. This free event will primarily give new brides a chance to see the hall and meet the friendly staff who could potentially serve an important role in making their future celebrations run smoothly and instill confidence for the big day. (One way to calm the nerves a bit!)

However, it should be noted that although the majority of festivities held at the banquet hall are indeed matrimonial, the facility is not just for happy brides and grooms to cap their nuptials in party-style with well-wishing family and friends. Those in search of a gathering place for birthday parties, baby showers, business functions or really any reason one can think of to come together are welcome to explore their options at Roby Lee’s and find out how the long-time, constantly-improving community staple can cater to your needs. Unlike other reception halls, Roby Lee’s does not charge a rental fee for a hall, just for the food, and the restaurant also offers off-site catering to several satellite locations or any venue of your choice.

But there’s really no need to go anywhere else when fresh paint, new carpeting, modern flower arrangements, and even a non-slip tile floor for the buffet area are just a few of the amenities awaiting guests during the official reveal on Sunday. It will not be a vendor fair – the annual Bridal Show just around the corner on February 16, 2014 will serve that purpose – but as a special thank you for their continued business relationships over the years, the restaurant has invited wedding staples Brooks Music (DJ), Center of Attention (tablescapes and so much more), and Carolyn of Carolyn’s Cakes (all things yummy) to be at the Open House and give guests just a taste of what the experience could be. To make that experience a little sweeter, as a bonus for attendees, anyone who books an event the day of the Open House will receive a free chocolate fountain at their reception.
