Garfield quarterback and life-long Dallas Cowboys fan, Dalton Fall has made it to the last round of the All-American Super Combine June 25&26 in Arlington Texas.
The combine is a part of the Blue-grey All-American Bowl. Dalton was nominated for this combine by the Garfield High School coaching staff.
“Blue-Grey was established by Gus and Eric Bell to prepare football prospects to receive national attention and increase potential for college scholarships,” according to Bluegreyfootball.com
The Blue-grey combine will consist of dinner with ex-NFL players who will coach the combine, athletes will meet the All-American Bowl coaches, and the national media will be there to stream each athlete via the Impact Football network.
Fall has been working toward this since the age of five and has chosen to attend the combine in Dallas because he’s always been a Dallas fan.
“It would be a dream come true to stand on the Cowboys star at the 50-yard line (in Arlington),” said Dalton’s mother, Denise Fall. “He had his six-month old baby pictures in a Cowboys outfit and his dad was a Cowboys fan. It’s always been Cowboys for him. It’s always, always been Cowboys for us,” she said.
“I always wanted to play for the Cowboys,” Dalton said. “I love watching the Cowboys, we have Christmas pictures in Cowboy’s outfits and I’m just a football fanatic,” said Dalton fall.
The Fall family is looking to raise financial support of $1,200 to make Dalton’s dream come true. Team Dalton consisting of mother Denise Fall, Dalton Fall, stepfather, Herbert Hogue; sister, Darah Fall; brother, Dillon Fall and a few teammates and family members are looking to do yard work for donations.
“We want to offer services in exchange for donations so that the community can physically meet him,” said Denise.
The team is looking to service any house or yard to make this dream come alive.
“No job is to big or too small as we have power washers, lawnmowers, weed eaters and chain saws,” said Denise.
“He’s very entertaining, he always likes to make people laugh, he’s very respectful, and he appreciates everything he has ever been given in any sport or activity. He’s a great role model for little kids,” said Denise.
