Windham – The Village of Windham will be hosting its first-ever movie night Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the community house.

As part of Celebrate Portage, Windham Mayor Deb Blewitt received a $500 grant to offset the cost of the event.  This movie night will feature two movies. “Finding Nemo” will show at 5 o’clock and at 6:45 “The Jungle Book” will air. The event is free; just bring a blanket to sit on, as small snacks and drinks will be provided.

The Celebrate Portage Committee invited all the Portage County mayors to fill out funding forms and five communities were selected for the grants. The Celebrate Portage committee offered these grants in accordance with their vision to educate and invigorate the vision for a vibrant and exciting Portage County.

“The event will bring all ages of the community together. It will give people the opportunity to mingle and meet families they may not know,” said Mayor Deb Blewitt.
