Mantua – Dust off your tiara, because on April 19th to April 21st, you’ll be transported into one of childhood’s best-loved fairy tales. Crestwood High Drama Club will present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at the nearby CHS gymnasium, so pumpkin coaches are not required. You’ll be transported as Cinderella, Crestwood junior Amber Harrison, waltzes her way into the on-stage attention of her Prince Charming, played by sophomore David Bowles. Other notable players include seniors Paul Hanslik and Kelly Summers as the King and Queen.

Cinderella-2The full cast contains 25 students from Crestwood’s concert and chamber choirs. Set design and construction were made possible, not by a fairy godmother, but through the hard work of teachers, students, and dedicated parents. The production’s faculty advisors are Cassandra Rondinella and Monica Lazanich, and the stage manager is senior Kayley Michuta.

As a special treat, future princes and princesses are invited to attend ‘Tea Time’ with the performing Princess prior to Sunday’s matinee performance. Join Cinderella, Prince Charming, and friends for a light lunch, photos and more. Tickets for Sunday’s Tea Time and performance are $10 presale/$15 at the door. Tea Time starts at 12:30 pm., with performance at 2 pm. Friday and Saturday’s performances start at 7:30 pm, and tickets are available for $5 presale or $8 at the door.

For tickets or additional information, contact Ms. Rondinella at crondinella@crestwoodschools.org.
