Another bowling season has begun and the youth bowlers are already making their mark.  There will be some names you recognize and some new names as we begin another year of reporting their Saturday morning scores.

Lauren Sanchez started off the year with a bang!  Lauren had her first 500 series on the first week of bowling, a 526 with games of 179, 191 and 156.  But then on week two she had her first 600 series.  Lauren rolled games of 210, 214, and 183 for a very nice 607 series.  Lauren’s 526 was in the 11:00 Trio League and her 607 was in the Scholastic League.  Lauren is a 7th grader at Garfield Middle School and I’m sure coach Joe Brigham can’t wait for her to get to high school!

David Martin, in his first set for the Saturday 11:00 Trio, rolled 170, 221, and 183 for a very nice 574 series.  Jacob Briton started his year off with a nice 501 series.  Billy Potteiger rolled a 204 game and 473 series.  Other nice games:  Lucas Titschinger, 157, Rayne Burdette, 86, Gavin Dunfee, 95.

Good games bowled by the 9:00 Trio set:  Addrianna Conway, 143, Ryleigh Gough, 129, Alex Gage, 160, Emily Linamen, 130, Pete Maldonado, 105, Brooke Collins, 106, Isaac Trickett, 110, Kelly Stemnock, 137, Sara Barker, 115, and Zachary Seebacher, 110.

In the Scholastic League, nobody topped Lauren’s 607 set, but Nick Toke was close with 206-590.  Other good games:  Zachary Britton, 232, Collin McGurer, 234, and Jaret Doraski, 201-577.

High scores for the PeeWees:  SadieMae Ewell, 108, Cole Thompson, 105 and 104, Mackenzie Thompson, 104, and Angelo Dinardo, 102.

Alex Gage had the top series for the 9:00 Trio with 392; Alex rolled games of 112, 131, and 149.  High game was Paige Collins with 152.  Zach Seebacher had a nice 139 game and 368 series.  Ryleigh Gough was 42 pins over average with her 132 game.  Other nice games:  Emily Linamen, 116 (40 over), Damian Tourville, 96 (35 over), Eric Schaefer, 99 (28 over), and Sara Barker, 100 (27 over).

For the 11:00 Trio, Kassie Fedor topped the leader board with a 200 game and 514 series.  Jacob Britton had  a nice 192 game and 512 series.  Ian Huebner’s 124 game was 51 pins over average.  Adding to the list of good games:  Lauren Sanchez, 183 (50 over), Lucas Titschinger, 165 (35 over), Billy Potteiger, 163 (31 over), Barrett Jackson, 159 (29 over), Peyton Sledz, 92 (28 over), Travis Pennington, 96 (27 over), Wilson Jackson, 134 (26 over), and Clark Jackson, 151 (25 over).

Jake Yeatts had the high series for the Scholastic League with 646; Jake rolled games of 201, 243, and 202.  Collin McGurer rolled 266 his first game and ended up with a 636 series.  Other nice scores:  Olivia Doraksi, 214-597, Bradley Woodrum 213-598, Ryan Ambler 209-614, Jaret Doraski, 204, Noah Shannon, 204, Zach Britton, 201, Jessica Potteiger, 198, Angela Piazza, 193, Billy Potteiger, 186, Danielle Tuttle, 186, and Lauren Sanchez, 182.

Pete Maldonade had the top scores for the PeeWees with games of 121 and 103.  Memphis English shot 103 and Hunter Turnbaugh and Piper Johannsmeier each shot 101.

 

 

 

 

Garrettsville - It’s getting close to the end of the bowling season and the bowlers just keep getting better!  Collin McGurer shot his first-ever 700 series last Saturday in the Scholastic League.  Collin rolled games of 264, 247 and 205 for an excellent 716 series.   Ryan Ambler’s 266 game gave him a nice 637 series and Jaret Doraski was over 200 all three games with 222, 211 and 203, for a 636 series.  Other good scores:  Bradley Woodrum 235-597, Jessie Potteiger, 202-576, Angela Piazza, 191, Danielle Tuttle, 190, Olivia Doraski, 188, and Joey Ewell, 184.

In the 9:00 Trio, Alex Gage just missed a 400 series; his games of 126, 139 and 130 were good for a 395 series.  Ryleigh Gough continued her hot streak with games of 121, 113, and 125, 92 pins over average for the day.  Some other good scores:  Isaac Trickett, 128 (43 over), Addriana Conway, 112 (35 over), Kyleigh Grandon, 133 (33 over), and Jason Schaefer, 119 (30 over).

For the 11:00 Trio, Kassie Fedor had the high scores with 201-543.  Wilson Jackson was 126 pins over his 107 average with his games of 153, 179, and 115.  Barrett Jackson also bowled well, with games of 162, 150, and 156; Barrett’s average is 129.  Other nice games:  Adam Norris, 169 (37 over), Billy Potteiger, 169 (37 over), Austin Wise, 147 (36 over), and Nathan Phillips, 164 (35 over).

And, as promised, the 11:00 Trio scores from last week:   Clark Jackson was 73 pins over his average with a very nice 198 game.  Other good games:  Kassie Fedor, 201, Ericq Williams, 147 (39 over), Lauren Sanchez, 172 (38 over), Nathan Phillips, 163 (34 over), and Ian Huebner, 105 (31 over).

For the PeeWees, Paige Johannsmeier rolled 114, Hunter Turnbaugh rolled 106, and Piper Johannsmeier shot 100.

 

 

 

Paige Collins topped the scoreboard March 29 with a 147 game and 404 series.  Kyleigh Grandon was 46 pins over average with her 145 game.  Other nice games:  Brooke Collins, 108 (36 over), Emily Linamen, 111 (36 over), Adrianna Conway, 110 (35 over), Taylor Cressman, 99 (35 over), Sara Barker, 104 (34 over), and Ryleigh Gough, 121 (34 over).

In the 11:00 Trio, Nathan Phillips rolled the high game of 174.  Ericq Williams had a very good day.  Ericq averages 106 but was well over with games of 149, 117, and 143, giving him a 409 series.  Other good games:  Travis Pennington, 106 (40 over) and Billy Potteiger, 168 (35 over).

Top game for the PeeWees belonged to Pete Maldonade with 118.  Milo English rolled games of 108 and 102.  Other good games were rolled by Sarah Almashy with 104, Piper Johannsmeier with 102, and Sierra Foy with 101.

For the Scholastic League, Angela Piazza had the top game with a 221.  Angela also added games of 191 and 164 for a nice 576 series.  Cameron King had a nice 219 game.  Jessica Potteiger rolled 216 game and 586 series, high series for the day.

On April 4 Paige Collins once again had the top scores for the 9:00 Trio with a 158 game and 406 series.  Sara Barker was 105 pins over average for the day with a 318 series.  Sara averages 71 and rolled games of 103, 120, and 95.  Other nice games:  Adrianna Conway, 120 (45 over), Zach Seebacher, 132 (37 over), Ryleigh Gough, 121 (33 over), Damian Tourville, 91 (31 over), and Ryan Lance, 109 (27 over).

Jacob Britton had the top score for the 11:00 Trio with 175.  Adam Norris was right behind with 171.  Other good games:  Travis Pennington, 107 (40 over), Barrett Jackson, 164 (36 over), Austin Sledz, 148 (34 over), Clark Jackson, 156 (31 over), and Chris Titschinger, 109 (27 over).

Jolson French had the high game for the Scholastic League with 243.  Jessica Potteiger hit the 600 mark with her 214 game and 614 series.  Jaret Doraski shot 203.

Hunter Turnbaugh rolled games of 103 and 119 for the PeeWees.  Piper Johannsmeier rolled 115 and Paige Johannsmeier had 111.

 

Alex Gage and Paige Collins topped the score board for the 9:00 Trio on March 22.  They each shot games of 154.  Alex also rolled a nice 414 series.  Isaac Trickett was 46 pins over average with his 130 game.  Kyle Lance was over his 75 average all three games, rolling games of 110, 114, and 84 for a very nice 308 series.  Other good games:  Brooke Collins, 102 (30 over), Damian Tourville, 87 (28 over), and Kelly Stemnock, 110 (25 over).

In the 11:00 Trio, Nathan Phillips had the high game of 191 (64 pins over his 127 average).  Billy Potteiger was 57 pins over average with his 189 game.  Other nice games:  Lauren Sanchez, 185 (52 over), Barrett Jackson, 179 (52 over), Clark Jackson, 175 (51 over), Travis Pennington, 102 (36 over), Kassie Fedor, 189 (33 over), Wilson Jackson, 139 (33 over), and Austin Sledz, 144 (30 over).

High game for the Scholastic League was a 244 by Jaret Doraski.  Jaret had a 635 series.  Ryan Ambler was extremely consistent with games of 214, 214 and 212, for a 640 series.  Other good games were rolled by Jake Yeatts, 233, Jolson French, 203, and Olivia Doraski, 201.

Sarah Almashy had the top game for the PeeWees with 124.  Paige Johannsmeier rolled two games of 106.

 

Ryleigh Gough had the high game and series on March 15 in the 9:00 Trio League.  Ryleigh’s average is 85 and she rolled games of 121, 151, and 115 for a very nice 387 series, 132 pins over average for the day.  Kyleigh Grandon was 43 pins over average with her 142 game.  Other nice games:  Zach Seebacher, 129 (35 over), Adrianna Conway, 106 (32 over), Taylor Cressman, 92 (29 over), and Brooke Collins, 96 (25 over).

Kassie Fedor once again topped the score sheets for the 11:00 Trio with a 184 game and 517 series.  Lauren Sanchez rolled 171, 39 pins over her average.  Travis Pennington was 38 pins over average with his 103 game.  Travis also just missed his 300 series with a 299; he was 104 pins over for series.  Other good games were rolled by Adam Norris, 164 (34 over) and Wilson Jackson, 136 (31 over).

Zach Britton had the high game for the Scholastic League with 255.  But it was his younger brother Jacob who rolled the high series of 603, his first 600 series.  Jacob had games of 204, 201, and 198.  Billy Potteiger rolled his first 200 game, a 207.  He also had a 548 series, 128 pins over average for the day.  Billy is only 10 but is already averaging 140 in the Scholastic League.  Jessica Potteiger rolled a nice 245 game and 593 series (although little brother Billy beat her the last game when she rolled 200).  Other nice scores:  Ryan Ambler 236-593, Nick Toke 228-599, Noah Shannon, 212, Emma Dockery, 209, Jake Yeatts, 207, Cameron King, 201, and Danielle Tuttle, 192.

Good games by the PeeWees:  Memphis English, 109, Gage Vetrono, 99, and Sierra Foy, 90.

 

“This Is How We Roll”

 

Now that the high school bowling season is over, the Scholastic League has started back up.  This year it’s a doubles format, made up of not only high school students, but also a number of other bowlers who are hoping to bowl on the high school team in the future.  There are also quite a few bowlers who are bowling in the 1:00 Scholastic League in addition to the 11:00 Trio because they just can’t get enough of bowling.

Emma Dockery had the high game last week with 235.  Emma also had a nice 595 series.  High series belonged to Bradley Woodrum with 231-619.  Jaret Doraski and Zach Britton each tossed 225 games.  Other good games:  Ryan Ambler, 210, Jolson French, 205, Collin McGurer, 203, Nick Toke, 201, and Angela Piazza, 189.

Alex Gage’s average keeps going up, and he keeps bowling over average.  Alex was over average all three games and had the high game and series with 147-388.  Isaac Trickett continued his string of high games with a 57-over 141 game.  Isaac was also over average all three games and shot a nice 332 series.  Other good games:  Kyleigh Grandon, 141 (42 over), Adrianna Conway, 116 (42 over), Taylor Cressman, 98 (36 over), Emily Linamen, 105 (32 over), and Ryleigh Gough, 115 (30 over).

Kassie Fedor’s 174 game and 424 series were high for the 11:00 Trio.  Clark Jackson was 29 pins over average with his 152 game and Austin Wise was 24 over with 134.

Sierra Greathouse was the only one of the PeeWees this week to hit 100, and she hit 100 on the nose.

 

Adrianna Conway had the high game in the 9:00 Trio League last week with 144, doubling her average of 72.  Adriana was also over average her other two games with 85 and 84, giving her a 313 series.  The top series belonged to Alex Gage with 364; Alex had a 140 game as well.  Other good games were rolled by Isaac Tricket, 128 (46 over average), Zach Seebacher, 130 (37 over), and Ryleigh Gough, 114 (30 over).

The top bowler in the 11:00 Trio was Kassie Fedor with a 178 game and 512 series.  Lucas Titschinger rolled a 176 game, 46 pins over his average.  Ian Huebner was 43 pins over his average with a nice 116 game.  Austin Sledz was 31 pins over average with his 144 game; Austin also added games of 127 and 142 for a 413 series.  Other nice games:  Lauren Sanchez, 161 (30 over), Travis Pennington, 92 (30 over), Gavin Dunfee, 70 (29 over), Chris Titschinger, 109 (27 over), and Peyton Sledz, 90 (27 over).

For the PeeWees, Milo English had the top game of 106.   Pete Maldonade rolled games of 101 and 105.  Gage Vetrono had a 102 game and Joshua Neu rolled 100.

 

Last week Paige Collins had the high game in the 9:00 Trio League with 149.  Alex Gage had high series of 383.  Alex has been on a hot streak lately, and was over his 100 average all three games with 125, 139, and 119.  Alex wasn’t the only bowler to be over average all three games.  In fact, there were five others.  Ryleigh Gough was most over for the day with her games of 127, 98, and 115, for a 340 series.  Ryleigh was 94 pins over her 82 average for the day.  Isaac Tricket was 51 pins over average with his 132 game and added games of 106 and 91, for a nice 329 series, 86 pins over average.  Taylor Cressman, with an average of 59, rolled games of 68, 96, and 95, putting her at 82 over for the day.  Adrianna Conway was 77 over with games of 100, 89, and 101.  Damian Tourville bowled 91, 66, and 87, and was 73 pins over his 57 average.  Zach Seebacher also had a nice game with a 34-over 126 game.
Noah Hoffmann tossed the high game for the 11:00 Trio League with a 196.  Noah added games of 137 and 174 for an excellent 507 series, also high for the day.  Adam Norris rolled a nice 174 game, 43 pins over his average.  Other good games:  Billy Potteiger, 165 (34 over), Lucas Titschinger, 161 (31 over), Ian Huebner, 102 (29 over), and Lauren Sanchez, 152 (21 over).

Paige Johannsmeier had the high game for the PeeWees last week with 124.  Paige also added a 100 game giving her a 224 series.  Piper Johannsmeier had a nice 101 game.

On February 1. Alex Gage had the high series for the 9:00 Trio League.  Alex rolled a 140 game and 368 series.  Teammate Zach Seebacher had a 132 game, 40 pins over his average.  Taylor Cressman was most over average for the day.  Taylor was over her 57 average all three games with games of 100, 85, and 79, for a 264 series, 93 pins over average.  Other good games:  Damian Tourville, 85 (29 over), Adrianna Conway, 96 (25 over), and Isaac Trickett, 105 (25 over).

For the 11:00 Trio, Clark Jackson was 84 pins over average when he rolled a 206 game.  Clark’s 453 series was high for the day as well.  Austin Sledz had a 169 game, 57 pins over average.  Other nice scores:  Lucas Titschinger, 166 (36 over), Travis Pennington, 95 (35 over), Adam Norris, 155 (25 over), and Gavin Dunfee, 61 (25 over).
Alex Gage topped the 9:00 Trio League again on February 8 with a 154 game and 378 series.  Sara Barker’s 101 game was 32 pins over average.
Noah Hoffman had the high game in the 11:00 Trio League with 189, 60 pins over his average of 129.  Clark Jackson continued his hot streak with a 176 game, 53 pins over average.  Other good games:  Lauren Sanchez, 164 (34 over), Gavin Dunfee, 70 (31 over), Wilson Jackson, 134 (29 over), and Alex Carter, 112 (27 over)
Last week’s top PeeWee score was 119, bowled by Dawson Carter.  Pete Maldonade rolled a nice 109 game.  Milo English shot two games over 100 – 102 and 107, while Memphis English rolled 102.

Jacob Britton started off the new year with a 184 game and 506 series; both were high for the day for the 11:00 Trio.  Lauren Sanchez rolled a nice 179 game.  Clark Jackson was 54 pins over average with his 175 game.  Other good scores:  Wilson Jackson, 148 (45 over), Ian Huebner, 109 (37 over), Ericq Williams, 137 (32 over), and Peyton Sledz, 88 (26 over).

bowlingThe week of January 11, the top game was bowled by Billy Potteiger with a nice 188.  High series belonged to Kassie Fedor with 170-477.  Alex Carter’s 138 game was 56 pins over average.  Other good games:  Lauren Sanchez, 170 (41 over), Austin Wise, 132 (22 over), and Noah Hoffmann, 148 (22 over).

For the 9:00 shift, Alex Gage rolled the high game of 131, 36 pins over his average of 95.  Top series was rolled by Paige Collins with 343; Paige’s high game was 123.  Isaac Trickett’s 113 game was 34 pins over average.  Other nice games:  Emily Linamen, 95 (25 over), Brooke Collins, 93 (23 over), Taylor Cressman, 78 (23 over), and Ryleigh Gough, 104 (23 over).

The following week, Alex Gage had a career day.  Alex rolled games of 117, 154, and 124 on his way to a very nice 395 series, 107 pins over average for the day.  Damian Tourville was 31 pins over average with his 84 game.  Paige Collins was 23 over with her 134 game.

Milo English started off the new year with scores of 107 and 129.  Other good scores over the past two weeks for the PeeWees:  Paige Johannsmeier, 112, Hunter Turnbaugh, 108Pete Maldonade, 104, and Memphis English, 104.

 

Billy Potteiger had the high series the week of November 23.  Billy rolled 187 and 186 and ended up with a 520 series, his first 500.  Noah Hoffmann started out with the first 6 strikes and ended up with a 236, 113 pins over his average of 123.  Noah also shot his first 500 series, with a 515.  There were a number of other high scores – Kassie Fedor rolled 202; Lucas Titschinger was 63 pins over average with his 189 game; Lauren Sanchez rolled a 187 for 59 pins over average.  Nathan Phillips was 50 pins over average with his 178 game.  Austin Sledz rolled a 147, 36 pins over his average, and Wilson Jackson was 31 pins over with his 133 game.

In the 9:00 Trio, Ryleigh Gough was 36 pins over average with a 114 game.  Ryleigh also had a 105 her last game.  Ryleigh’s average is 78, so she was well over for the day.  Brooke Collins was 35 over with her 99 game.  Damian Tourville was also 35 over with a game of 85.

The top game for the bumper bowlers was by Memphis English with 106.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the face of a bowler who has just shot his or her first 200 game – and I got to see it twice last week.  In his second game, Adam Norris rolled 200 on the nose.  It was obvious from the look on Adam’s face that he hadn’t realized quite how well he was bowling!  Adam was also over his 126 average the other two games, and had a nice 462 series.

Barrett Jackson didn’t look quite as surprised, but he certainly looked just as happy when he rolled a 206 his last game.  Barrett has been bowling for several years now, and his average is up to 132.  Congratulations to Adam and Barrett on breaking the 200 mark for the first time.

There were a number of other good games bowled last week.  Lauren Sanchez was 53 pins over her average with a nice 179 game.  Austin Sledz was 43 over average with his 152 game.  Austin was over average all three games, in fact, and his 406 series was 79 pins over.  Other nice games:  Lucas Titschinger, 160 (36 over), Clark Jackson, 156 (35 over), Wilson Jackson, 133 (32 over), Billy Potteiger, 154 (29 over), Sybri Shaffer 96 (28 over), Nathan Phillips, 155 (27 over), and Logan Flack, 119 (25 over).

In the 9:00 Trio League, Ryan Lance had a nice 106 his last game, 36 pins over his average.  Emily Linamen was 33 over with her 102 game.  And Damian Tourville was 21 pins over average with a game of 70.

Paige Johannsmeier had the top game for the PeeWees with 109.  Other bumper bowlers topping the century mark were Jesse Neu with 102, and Dawson Carter and Pete Maldonade with 101 each.

 

Isaac Trickett rolled a 122 game last week, 49 pins over his average of 73.  Isaac was over average his other two games as well, with scores of 80 and 103, putting him 86 pins over average for the day.  Paige Collins continued her hot streak with a 157 game and 396 series.  Alex Gage rolled a nice 137 game, 47 pins over his average.  Good games were also rolled by Kelly Stamnock, 127 (38 pins over), Kyleigh Grandon, 130 (35 over), Zach Seebacher, 123 (32 over), Tori Lopez, 104 (31 over), Damian Tourville, 77 (29 over), and Adrianna Conway, 96 (24 over).

Talk about consistent – Kassie Fedor rolled 180, 179, and 181 on her way to a nice 540 series.  Austin Sledz had a 148 game, 40 pins over his 108 average.  Other nice games:  Lauren Sanchez, 154 (30 over), Travis Pennington, 73 (26 over), Logan Flack, 118 (25 over), Barrett Jackson, 156 (24 over), and Alex Carter, 101 (24 over).

For the PeeWees, Memphis English had the top game of 105.  Two other bowlers hit the 100 mark as well – Gage Vetrono with a 103 and Hunter Turnbaugh with a 101.

 

Travis Horner had the top game and top series in the 9:00 Trio League on April 6.  Travis rolled a 128 game and 332 series.  Sydney Coburn continued her good bowling.  Sydney’s 118 game was 61 pins over her 57 average.  Sydney was also 105 pins over for series with her 276.  Other good scores:  Paige Collins, 108 and Sara Barker, 78 (32 pins over average).

In the 11:00 Trio, “Split Happens” had by far the high game of the season when all three team members rolled over 200 their second game.  Nick Toke shot 213, Collin McGurer, 226 and Jaret Doraski, 216.  All three team members also shot over 500 for the day, Nick with 501, Collin with 562, and Jaret with 554.  Billy Potteiger was 70 pins over average with a 189; Billy also had a nice 467 series.  Other nice games were rolled by Floria Gerardino, 134 (46 over), Kassie Fedor 190, (43 over), Matt Hale, 161 (40 over), Eric Lawless, 158 (36 over), Danielle Tuttle, 157 (34 over), Tom Braden Jr., 123 (32 over), and Logan Flack, 115 (30 over).

On April 13, Paige Collins was on fire in the 9:00 Trio.  Paige shot 128, 114, and 141, putting her at 112 pins over average for the day.  Sara Barker was 51 pins over average with her 98 game, and Sydney Coburn was also 51 over with a very nice 109 game.  Travis Horner also continued his hot streak with a 121 game and 342 series, with all three games over 100.

For the 11:00 Trio League, nice games were rolled by Collin McGurer, 192, Jaret Doraski, 183, Barrett Jackson, 182 (54 over), Jeff Dunfee, 173 (51 over), Ian Huebner, 100 (41 over), Billy Potteiger, 160 (40 over), Nathan Phillips, 149 (36 over), Chris Titschinger, 107 (32 over), Noah Hoffmann, 149 (31 over), Austin Wise, 127 (30 over), Lauren Sanchez, 151 (30 over), and Lucas Titschinger, 133 (30 over).

Good scores by the PeeWee bowlers:   Peyton Sledz, 114, Memphis English, 113, Gavin Dunfee, 109, Kyla Schaffer, 103.  And Sadiemae Ewell rolled her first 100 game with a 106

In the Teen Texas Shoot Out, good games were shot by Dustin Tushar, 226-581, Anna Brigham 200-567, Collin McGurer, 193, Jessica Potteiger, 192 and Jaret Doraski, 189.

Milo English was the star of the 11:00 PeeWee League on February 16; Milo started out with a nice 102 game but then rolled 130 for an excellent 232 two-game set.  Gavin Dunfee rolled a nice 112 game and a 205 series.  Kenny Stoots had the high game for the 9:00 PeeWees with 104.

In the 9:00 Trio League, Sydney Coburn was 55 pins over average with her very nice 107 game.  Devin Penna rolled 123 and Paige Collins shot 120.  Other good games:  Emily Linamen, 97 (36 pins over average), Isaac Trickett, 94 (29 over), Zach Seebacher, 113 (28 over), and Travis Horner, 112 (25 over).

Ethan Dubasik tossed an excellent 211 game to lead the 11:00 Trio League.  Ethan’s 491 series was also high for the day.  Lucas Titschinger was 98 pins over average for series.  Lucas averages 99 and rolled games of 128, 126, and 141 for a nice 395 series.  Barrett Jackson’s 176 game was 50 pins over his 126 average.  Other nice games were rolled by Austin Sledz, 158 (45 over), Billy Potteiger, 155 (39 over), Clark Jackson, 150 (36 over), Lauren Sanchez, 160 (36 over), Adam Norris, 149 (34 over), Eric Lawless, 146 (26 over), and Nick Toke, 172 (25 over).

Jeff Dunfee has bowled over average six games in a row.  The prior week, Jeff rolled 141-140-145, besting his 124 average by 54 pins.  Then on February 16 he rolled 130, 132, and 132.  Keep the streak going, Jeff!

What’s better than good youth bowling scores to report?  Two weeks’ worth of good scores!  On January 19, Gavin Dunfee had a great 123 game in the 11:00 PeeWee League.  Milo English rolled games of 117 and 110, and Brooklynn Horner and Memphis English each had games of 94.  Sophia Shaffer rolled a 96 game.

The PeeWees were on fire last week.  It isn’t very often that the bumper bowlers have a 200 series, but three of them did it last week.  Kenny Stoots started out with a 135 game; he added a 98 for a nice 233 series.  Brooklyn Horner shot games of 117 and 87, giving her a 204 series.  Gavin Dunfee rolled 90 and 117 for a 207 set.

It’s time to catch up on the bowling scores from the end of 2012.  For the week of December 22, Eric Schaefer had the high game in the 9:00 Trio League with 123, which was 52 pins over his 71 average.   Paige Collins had the high series with 300; Paige rolled games of 86, 104, and 110.  Other nice games were rolled by Isaac Trickett, 97 (35 pins over average), Zach Seebacher, 111 (32 over), Sydney Coburn, 70 (26 over), and Kyleigh Grandon, 81 (26 over).

Paige Collins had the high game and series in the 9:00 Trio League on December 15.  Paige rolled a 135 her second game, which is 50 pins over her average of 85.  Paige also added games of 105 and 89, giving her a 329 series.  Sara Barker was well over average all three games.  Sara, whose average is 36, bowled games of 56, 61, and 71, putting her at 80 pins over average for the day.  Other good scores:  Emily Linamen, 93 (38 pins over average), Kyleigh Grandon, 83 (30 over), and Sydney Coburn, 68 (25 over).
