Garrettsville – The Garrettsville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize three member businesses who celebrated anniversaries in July.
Knowing that she “couldn’t be the only one who longed to be surrounded by treasures,” Allene’s passion for finding exactly what her customers are looking for has attracted visitors from Greenwich, NY and points beyond.
The Bay Window also turned 25 over the weekend.
When The Bay Window opened its doors in the summer of 1988, it was clear that this was no ordinary floral shop. Originally located in a century home at the present-day site of the Garrettsville branch of Middlefield Bank, The Bay Window quickly established itself as the place to go for floral arrangements, holiday decor and tanning touch-ups—offering a year-round Christmas shop on the ground floor and tanning beds on the second. Relocating to their present location on Windham Street in 1998, The Bay Window remains one of the area’s best sources for floral arrangements.
Staying true to its roots, The Bay Window continues to offer customers a variety of items unique to the shop, including: Henry London, and Fannie Mae chocolates, Yankee Candles, wind chimes, and Popcorn Factory gourmet popcorn. Though they specialize in sympathy arrangements, the talented florists at The Bay Window can design floral arrangements for any occasion or customers can choose designs from the FTD or 1800 Flowers catalog.
Garrettsville Animal Hospital, the “youngest” of the bunch, so-to-speak, celebrated 11 years of caring for area pets over the weekend; co-hosting a customer appreciation event with The Bay Window.
