Garrettsville Summerfest to Hold Idol Semi-Finals

Garrettsville -  This year, there are forty-four contestants who will compete this Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the semi-final round of Garrettsville Idol at James A. Garfield High School’s Iva Walker Auditorium. There will be four judges determining who will have the opportunity to sing on the stage at Summerfest this year and win cash prizes.

There will be two fantastic shows. The youth and teens will perform at 4 pm and the adults will perform at 6pm. They expect to keep around 10 -12 contestants from each show to perform on the stage at Summerfest.

Tickets are $3 for all seats, for each show and can be reserved by calling Aaron King (330) 524-2646 or can be purchased at the door.  Tickets sold at the door will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Each ticket will include one vote for the People’s Choice Award. Additional People’s Choice Award votes can be purchased for  $1.

This year, we have a very talented group of contestants; our judges have said it was the most talented group they have seen in a long time. You will have an entertaining afternoon and evening as we narrow the field for those who are vying to become the next Garrettsville Idol.

This year, we will once again offer special Garrettsville Idol T-shirts for sale as well as this year’s themed Summerfest shirts. Truck raffle tickets will also be available $20 each or 6 for $100. Once again they have chosen a Ford F-150 pick-up truck, only this year the truck is candy-apple red rather than black. Also available for purchase will be pizza, pop and water.

Bring the family, come out and get a preview of what you will see on the Summerfest stage this year
