Yuletide Revels Show & Dinner
JAGHS Theatre Dept. Presents: Yuletide Revels Show & Dinner on Dec. 15 at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25 per person (includes dinner/show). The Yuletide Revels is a recreation of a Renaissance Christmas musical performance complete with a royal court, court jester, recorder consort, herald trumpeters, harp and a bountiful meal.
Breakfast with Santa
The Palmyra Fireflies, along with the Palmyra Fire Department. Present the 6th Annual Breakfast with SANTA! Santa will be arriving at 8:30 A.M. on a FIRE TRUCK Date: Dec. 15. Time: 8:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Location: The Palmyra Fire Station on St. Rt. 225 (just south of Tallmadge Road in Diamond) Meal: Pancakes, Sausage, and Beverages. Cost: $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 for kids 4-10, 3 and under – FREE. Along with Breakfast with SANTA, you’ll receive one (1) 4×6 PICTURE and FRAME per family. Additional pictures available for $2 and Santa will have a little gift for all kids. Bring in a non-perishable item to help our adopted family!
Windham Toys for Tots

Spaghetti dinner will be Dec. 15 from 4-7 pm at the Western Reserve Masonic Lodge on St. Rt. 88 in West Farmington. Dinner includes salad, pie and bread. Cost is $7 for adults, $4.50 for ages 5-12, five and under eat free. Carry-outs are available for $7.50.
Annual Christmas Party
Warren Amateur Radio’s Annual Christmas Party with Santa along with the Annual Awards Ceremony will be held Dec. 15 at First United Methodist Church on North Park Avenue in Warren. It will be held downstairs. Social hour starts at 5 pm, dinner will begin at 6 pm, the meat will be furnished by the club.Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish to pass, which can be a casserole, vegetable dish or dessert.There will be a $20.00 gift exchange, woman bring woman’s gift , man bring a man’s gift. Breakfast With Santa
It’s Christmas season, and Santa will be stopping at the First Congregational Church at 612 W. Broad St. in Newton Falls for our annual all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, milk and juice breakfast. In Santa’s honor it is FREE to young and old. Grandparents, Mom & Dad, and, of course, all the children are invited. We will be serving breakfast from 9:30 a.m. till 11:00a.m, Dec.15.
Silent Auction will be Dec. 15 from noon till 2 pm at 10801 John Edward Drive, Mantua Village. Enjoy the holidays and come bid on our many treasures. Too much variety to mention. During our two hour silent auction, brats, dogs, chips and drinks will be available for purchase. Get out of the weather and come here for some great bargains.

Saturday, December 15: Stephens Memorial Observatory of Hiram College will host a public observing night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Visitors will observe the solar system’s biggest planet – Jupiter – with its four Galilean Moons! We will also be looking at the Great Nebula of Orion, red giant star Betelgeuse, and perhaps a star cluster or two. The Observatory is located on Wakefield Road (Rt. 82) less than a quarter of a mile west of Route 700 in Hiram. Sock & Mitten Tree
The East Geauga Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a “Sock & Mitten” tree at the Crossroads Country Cafe, 15916 W. High St. in Middlefield. Longest Night Service
Windham UMC will be hosting a “Longest Night Service” for those who mourn. Holidays are wonderful and full of joy, but they can be hard when we are missing someone. Whether you’ve lost someone recently or 20 years ago, the pain can be more acute during the holidays. On Dec. 21 at 7:30pm we will gather for a quiet worship service of music and hope with people who understand.
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
The Rotary Club of Garrettsville-Hiram has made special arrangements with Santa Claus to personally deliver packages in Garrettsville and Hiram on Sunday, December 23rd. Since so many children have been good this year, Santa feels he will be exceptionally busy on Christmas Eve and has agreed to come a day early! If you have a package that you would like Santa to deliver, please drop it off at The Business Works, 8110 Main Street, Garrettsville or at MB Reality, 8118 Main Street, Garrettsville by Friday, December 21st. The First Congregational Church of Freedom will be celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ at a Community Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, which will be held one night early, on Dec. 23 at 6:30 pm. The church is located at the intersections of St. Rt. 88 & St. Rt. 303 in Freedom Twp.
